From the records, it is seen that on the legal notice issued by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has directed the Revenue Inspector and the Village Administrative Officer not to proceed further with respect to issuance of patta. It was followed by another communication dated 24.11.2014. According to the petitioner, despite the same, notwithstanding the order of status quo granted by the District Munsif, Perambalur in O.S. No. 390 of 2014, patta has been changed in the name of one Mrs. Susila from the name of the petitioner's father, Muruga Padayachi. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 26.10.2014 to the 2nd respondent to change the patta once again in the name of his father. Since, the said representation has not been disposed of, the present writ petition is filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2014 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the third party, in whose name the patta stands as of now, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
