O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to furnish all the relevant documents such as First Information Report, Registration Certificate, Insurance Policy, permit of the offending vehicle namely, KL 40 G 5887 and Driving Licence of the driver who drove the vehicle at the time of accident to the petitioner in Crime No.690/2015 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband died in Motor Vehicle Accident, in connection with, which a case in Crime No.690 of 2015 under Sections 279 and 304(A) was registered by the 2nd respondent police and that the 2nd respondent police is not furnishing the details, namely, the name of the driver of the offending vehicle, his insurance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

particulars and licence particulars for the purpose of filing Motor Accident Case. In this connection, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 28.07.2016 to the Superintendent of Police, Erode by post. The family of the victim of the Motor Vehicle accident is entitled to be served with minimum documents, for the purpose of filing claim before the Tribunal.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a representation to the 2nd respondent and on such representation being given, the 2nd respondent shall furnish the required particulars to the petitioner for the purpose of filing motor accident case.
