O R D E R
This writ petition is filed seeking for writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.05.2013 and revise the date of their "B" list for the post of Sub-Inspector as on 10.04.2004 and grant consequential seniority and promote them to the post of Inspector of Police.
2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that due to delay to attend the range promotion board for the year 2004, about 950 direct women sub-inspectors were recruited and they were placed above the petitioner. Therefore, the seniority of the petitioner was affected and his representation dated 30.05.2013 given to the first respondent to refix his seniority was not considered till date. Hence, the petitioner approached this court by way of this writ petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner has not produced any valid proof for submitting his representation dated 30.05.2013.
4.Heard the submissions of Mr.Sudhakaran learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner in the light of the above facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the first respondent by enclosing a copy of this order and relevant records within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall consider the representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
