ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025 and take appropriate action against the alleged illegal appointment of the third respondent as Junior Engineer in the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department.

2. The petitioner, a hereditary trustee and service holder of Arulmigu Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple, Sholinghur, challenges the appointment of the third respondent as Junior Engineer in the HR & CE Department on compassionate grounds, contending that such appointment to a technical post is illegal and contrary to the established legal principles. According to the petitioner, departmental records and RTI replies disclose irregularities in the appointment and attempts to retrospectively ratify the same. The appointment of the third respondent has resulted in mismanagement of temple affairs and administrative lapses. Though the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.11.2025 seeking action against the said appointment, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved thereby, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third respondent, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Since the third respondent is directed to be heard by the first respondent before any order is passed, notice to the third respondent in the writ petition is dispensed with.
