O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for to issue Writ of Mandamus directing respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.11.2020 for grant of patta to the petitioner for the land situated in Survey No.379/9 to an extent of 0.3 cents in No.1-32, Gundupatti, Pochampalli, Angampatti, Krishnagiri District after conducting adequate enquiry and pass appropriate orders accordingly.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents as well as perused the material available on records.

Having considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, it is seen that the petitioner seeks Patta in his favour in the aforesaid land on the ground that the respondents have formulated a scheme for assignment of "Grama Natham" land in favour of some eligible person and while most of the persons in petitioner village have been granted with Patta, the petitioner case was not considered so far. Hence, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation dated 26.11.2020 of the petitioner herein in order to grant Patta in her name and pass appropriate orders within a period of five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law after perusing the revenue records.
