COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL,J.) The Petitioner has preferred the instant Writ Petitions praying for passing of an Order by this Court in directing the First Respondent/Registrar General, High Court, Madras, to dispose of the Appeals preferred by her on 25.01.2018, within the stipulated time, as deemed by this Court.

2.The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner, in a Departmental Proceedings initiated by the Second Respondent, was imposed with a punishment of censure and also punishment of withholding of increment for a period of one year with cumulative effect, vide order dated 22.12.2017 and being dissatisfied against the said order, appeals were preferred on 25.01.2018 before the First Respondent/Registrar General, High Court, Madras. Ultimately, the said Appeals, as on date, are pending on the file of the First Respondent. 3.At this stage, the Learned Standing Counsel for the First and Second Respondent fairly submits that within a period of two months, the Appeals preferred by the Petitioner, dated 25.01.

2018, before the first Respondent/Registrar General, High Court, Madras, will be disposed of and accordingly prays for two months time to dispose of the Appeals in issue. 4.Considering the fact that the Petitioner's Appeals dated 25.01.2018 are pending on the file of the First Respondent/Registrar General High Court, Madras, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Appeals and not delving deep, simpliciter, at this stage, this Court deems it fit and proper in directing the First Respondent/Registrar General, High Court, Madras, to dispose of the Appeals, dated 25.01.2018, preferred by the Petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. With the above observations/directions, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
