Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent disposed pf the appeal dated 14.09.2020 filed under Section 3-G(5) of the National Highways Act 1956, for the land acquired by the second respondent for widening of National Highways 45c in respect of the lands comprised in Survey No.246/1A/246/1B1, and 246/1B2 situated at the Thazhuthalaimedu Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.Karunanidhi For Respondents: Mr.M.Elumalai, Addl.Govt.Pleader.

O R D E R

With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.

2. Since a limited prayer has been sought for in this Writ Petition and there is no objection on the part of the respondent, I am inclined to dispose this writ petition with the following directions:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

i. The respondent is therefore directed to dispose the representation/appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.09.2020 under Section 3-G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

ii.The petitioner is permitted to make additional submissions and evidence if any to substantiate his case before the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

iii.Before passing any order, the respondent shall hear the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
