Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner representation dated 24.06.2022 for extension of OTS settlement in No.CARB:CS:2021-22:232 dated 17.02.2022 of the first respondent which was received by me on 05.03.2022 for further six months from today within the stipulated time.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Ms.N.R.Jasmine Padma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.F.B.Benjamin George, learned counsel for the second respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that One Time Settlement has been arrived at by the parties. Rs.50 lakhs was paid by the petitioner and for the payment of remaining Rs.1.50 crores, six months' time is sought.

3. At present, more than a year has lapsed. In view of that, no further orders can be passed in the present writ petition. It is open for the parties to take steps, as may be permissible in law.

4. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
