the petitioners are concerned and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to pay the arrears of Dearness relief for 18 months commencing from 01.01.2020 to the petitioners.

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records of the 1st respondent pertaining to his Office Memorandum bearing No.01/01/2020 -E-II(B) dated 23.04.2020 and quash the same in so far as the petitioners are concerned and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to pay the arrears of Dearness relief for 18 months commencing from 01.01.2020 to the petitioners.
2.When this Writ Petition was listed for hearing on 19.10.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, and again it was listed on 24.10.2024, even then there was no representation. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today ie on 25.10.2024 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, there is no purpose in keeping the Writ Petition pending without any progress.
3. In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed for 'non prosecution'. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 25.10.2024 Index :Yes/No Speaking order : Yes Sma
