PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet to dispose of the Tr.O.P No. 7 of 2026 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet within a Stipulated period.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief.

2. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of Tr.O.P.No.7 of 2026 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet. In the Transfer Original Petition, the petitioner seeks for transfer of one suit to another Court to enable the Trial Court to dispose of both the suits together.

3. The petitioner is a senior citizen and is aged about 71 years. Till date, according to the petitioner, counter has not been filed by the respondents.

4. Even though the Transfer Original Petition was filed only this year, this Court, considering the age of the petitioner, is inclined to direct the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, to dispose of Tr.O.P.No.7 of 2026 within the time

frame to be fixed by this Court. No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties, if such a direction is issued by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Court directs the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, to dispose of Tr.O.P.No.7 of 2026, after completion of the pleadings, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.

7. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents in this Civil Revision Petition, notice to the respondents 1 to 3 is dispensed with by this Court.
