ORDER

The notification issued by the 3rd respondent School, inviting applications from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant (English), is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2.Admittedly, the writ petitioner is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the 3rd respondent School and she possesses requisite qualification for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant (Social Studies). However, the impugned notification was issued for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant (English) and that apart, the notification was issued in the year 2014 and after a lapse of 8 years, now, at this length of time, the notification cannot be interfered with by this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for 3rd respondent School brought to the notice of this Court that, pursuant to the interim stay granted in the present writ petition, the notification was not acted upon and no one was selected for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant. By efflux of time and on account of reduction of students' strength, the post of B.T.

Assistant is not required in the 3rd respondent School and thus, the Management has not initiated any action. 4.This being the factum, no further consideration is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
