With the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard Mr.AR.L.Sundaresan, learned Senior Counsel for Ms.AL.Ganthimathi for the petitioners and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 25/9/2015 and restore the lands comprised in lands in Survey No.110/2 (part) of an extent of 1.56.0 hectares in Bagalur Village, Hosur Taluk, then Dharmapuri District to the petitioners herein.

4. According to the petitioners, the lands owned by the petitioners were acquired under the Central Act as well as under the State Act, for the purpose of allotting housing plots to the persons, who belong to Adi Dravidars.

5. The case of the petitioners is that none of the persons have occupied the lands and the lands remain as such. Therefore, the petitioners seek for reconveyance of the land, since it has not been used for the purpose acquired nor for any other similar purpose.

6. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 25/9/2015, on merits and in accordance with law.

7. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 25/09/2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
