Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025 within a time frame as prescribed by this Court and to correct the measurement and tax for the property of the petitioner bearing Assessment No.14-186-00470-000.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025.
2. Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned Standing counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the demand notices dated 01.03.2024 & 02.01.2025 based on the 2/6
wrong measurement of the petitioner's building. Therefore, a representation dated 03.02.2025 has been made by the petitioner seeking for a proper measurement of the subject property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
4. In reply, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would requests this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.
6. In the case on hand, the demand notices were issued based on the wrong measurement of the building and hence, a representation dated 03.02.2025 has been filed by the petitioner seeking for proper 3/6
measurement of the said property. However, the same was not considered by the respondents till date.
7. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025 and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
