Seeking a direction to the 1st respondent police to give suitable police protection to the petitioner, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It appears that a Civil Suit is pending between the parties in O.S.No.6 of 2015 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Gudiyatham. In such circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner for police protection cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court for police protection.
