This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed praying to reopen the Main Writ Petition No.26881 of 2022, dated 15.11.2022 and call for the enquiry report of the 5th respondent herein on the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2022 to be submitted by the former Inspector of Police of Chromepet Police Station and actual Enquiry Officer Mr.G.Venkatesan - the 5th respondent herein.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that this court by order dated 15.11.2022 in W.P.No.26881 of 2022, issued a direction to the 5th respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Chromepet Police Station, Chennai to complete the enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.09.2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pursuant to which, enquiry upon the representation of V. SIVAGNANAM, J.

WMP.No.17575/2023 in WP.26881/2022 msr the petitioner was conducted and concluded. He further submitted that during enquiry, as the allegations of the petitioner was proved false, the petition was closed as 'further action dropped'. To that effect, he has also filed status report of the case and closure report dated 08.09.2022 before the Court. The closure report is also supplied to the petitioner.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side), this Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy upon the closure report.
