This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents to forthwith disburse to the petitioner the subsistence allowance and continue to pay the same in accordance with the service rules of the respondents.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that subsistence allowance was paid to the petitioner and the petitioner was also no more and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
