Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2015 for rectification of errors crept in, in the revenue records in respect of the land and choultry building to an extent of 43 cents comprised in Survey No. 81 situate at Nakondapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to the petitioner after rectifying the error within the time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. By letter dated 25.09.2015, the petitioner made a request to the respondents to rectify the error that had crept in, in the revenue records and issue patta in her favour, in respect of the land and choultry building to an extent of 43 cents comprised in Survey No. 81 situate at Nakondapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, based on the decree granted in O.S. No. 97 of 1994. In the said representation, the petitioner has alleged that the land in Survey No.81 has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
wrongly included in the land belonging to the Anjanayaswamy Temple and therefore, the same will have to be rectified and patta has to be issued in the name of the petitioner. Seeking consideration of the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2015, on merits, in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the temple, in whose name, the patta stands, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that appropriate orders will have to be passed either by the 3rd respondent or by any other officer subordinate to him. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
