O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Case is filed challenging the order made in C.M.P.No.1488 of 2023 passed by the learned Judaical Magistrate No.II, Hosur, dismissing the petition filed by the petitioner under section 457 Cr.P.C., seeking return of his vehicle viz., Hyundai Creta bearing Reg.No.TN-83-MA-1048, which was seized and kept under the custody of the respondent police in crime No.428 of 2023 registered for the offence u/s.4(1)(a) of TNP Act.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) submitted that based on the letter sent by the respondent police, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, PEW, Krishnagiri District has initiated confiscation proceedings in C.No. 119/ CONF/ DSP/ PEW/KGI/2023, dated 25.04.2023 and the same is now pending.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Revision is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the confiscating authority and participate in the confiscation proceedings and work out his legal remedy before him.
