ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay difference in gratuity and leave salary based on 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 and unpaid last retirement month 10 days salary with 10% interest to the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that, he joined the respondent Transport Corporation as Tradesman on 11.08.1992 and retired from service on 31.05.2022. The petitioner made a representation to the respondents dated 28.02.2025, to pay the difference in gratuity and leave salary based on 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 and unpaid last retirement month 11 days salary. The said representation is pending on the file of the respondents. Hence the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that they would settle the eligible amount to the petitioner.

Heard the learned Counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2025, and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In the result, the above Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
