Prayer:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in R.O.C.No.163-A/2013/G/MB dated 02.01.2014 and direct the respondents herein to implement the orders passed by the 1st and 2nd respondent in G.O.M.S.No.2 dated 02.01.2012.

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The proceedings dated 02.01.2014 issued by Registrar (Administration), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai is under challenge in the present writ proceedings.

The impugned proceedings is all about causing of publication of Notification in the Madurai Gazette under Section 14(1) of Cr.P.C.1973, effecting removal of three police stations, viz., Elumalai G4, M.Kallupatti G6 and T.Ramanathapuram G5, from the jurisdiction of District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate, Peraiyur and attaching the same with the jurisdiction of Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Usilampatti. 3.

On account of efflux of time, the impugned proceedings dated 02.01.2014 lost its relevance. The subject relating to administration underwent many changes during the subsequent years. That being so, no further adjudication is required and consequently, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
