The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to measure and fix boundary stones in the petitioner's land comprised in R-survey No.35/5E as per patta No.150, Uranithangal Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, by passing orders in the representation dated 12.07.2016.

2. Mr. N. Edwin Jeyakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given her representation as early as on 12.07.2016 for surveying her land and issuing patta, the respondents have not passed any order sofar.

3. Ms. A. Madhumathi,, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2016 on payment f necessary charges by the petitioner and thereafter survey the land and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
