Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of

Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the respondents relating to the public notices issued by the first respondent on 23.09.2014 in website and quash the same in so far as they relate to the members of the petitioner-Association and directing the respondents to treat the 'Private Educational Institutions and its Hostels' on par with 'Government and Aided Educational Institutions' in relation to levy of electricity charges and not to fix electricity current consumption charges under Tariff II-B(2) (for LT Power Supply) and Tariff II-B (for HT Power Supply) in respect of 'Private Educational Institutions' at any rate higher than the rates fixed for 'Government and Aided Educational Institutions' etc. For Petitioner : Mr.Kandhan Duraisami For Respondent-1 : No Appearance For Respondents-2to4 : Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, Standing Counsel for TANGEDCO.

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that the present writ petition was instituted in November 2014. However, the respondentTANGEDCO/Authorities issued revised consumption charges by way of Notification dated 12.12.2014.

2. This being the factum, the cause aroused for the purpose of filing the present writ petition did not exist as of now. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.
