O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in respect of New S.No.397/27 in Old S.No.361/2 in Adhanur Village, Guduvancherry SRO, Sriperumpathur Taluk, Kancheepuam District, as recommended by the 3rd respondent.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Ms. A. Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner has given an application seeking for issuance of patta on 03.06.2013 and the same was rejected by the Tahsildar, Kundrathur on 17.09.2020.

3. Since the Tahsildar, Kundrathur had rejected the petitioner's claim for issuance of patta, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the Tahsildar, Kundrathur, in accordance with law. No costs.
