8299/2019] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.Revision Case No. on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SASIKUMAR R, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.PRABAKAR ADDL. PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- We are not inclined to consider the suspension of sentence petition.

2.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted in that eventuality the main appeal may be taken up for hearing.

3. We are inclined to accede to the said request especially when the cases involving the offence under the POCSO Act are required to be taken up early.

4. We have also been informed that the Apex Court is also dealing with such matters for the purpose of earlier adjudication of such cases. Thus, we are inclined to post the appeal for final hearing on 09.12.2019. In the mean while, Registry is directed to make the papers ready, if not made ready. Consequently, the miscellaneous petition is closed.
