(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) Heard Mr.S.Doraisamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. This Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son E.Somu that he belongs to Kurichchan (ST) Community based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner's relative R.Rajkumar.

3. It is averred in the Writ Petition that the petitioner belongs to Kurichchan community, which is a Scheduled Tribe community and his uncle's son R.Rajkumar obtained community https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

certificate that he belongs to Kurichchan (ST) community. It is further averred that the petitioner's son finished +2 examinations and required community certificate for pursuing higher studies and hence, the petitioner applied for the same before the respondent by application dated 31.05.2016 and sent a reminder dated 03.06.2016.

4. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submits that one month time may be given to the respondent to pass necessary orders.

5. In the light of the said submission, we direct the respondent to consider the application dated 31.05.2016 and the reminder dated 03.06.2016 made by the petitioner and verify the aspects as regards the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner's family members and pass necessary orders, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
