The prayer in the present writ petition is to call for the records relating to the 1st respondent herein I.D.No.604 of 2004, dated 01.08.2007 and quash the same and further direct the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service with all benefits, etc.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 20.06.2018, it was represented that the petitioner is no more and the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to file an impleading petition and hence, the matter was listed on 03.07.2018. Even on 03.07.2018, he sought further time to take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary steps. Therefore, the petition was listed on 13.07.2018.

On 13.07.2018, the petitioner requested for the adjournment on the same reason and therefore, the Registry was directed to list the petition under the caption 'for dismissal' on 16.07.2018. The learned counsel for the petitioner requested adjournments for similar request, namely to take steps to implead the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner. 4.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, inspite of the matter being listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
