IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT MADRAS

DATED : 28.11.2025 CORAM :

THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE M.S. RAMESH THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE R.SAKTHIVEL Rev.Appln . No.

of 202 K.Hemanand S/o.Krishnan ... Applicant Vs.

A.Gausalya D/o.Ashokan ... Respondent Prayer: Review Application filed under Order XLVII Rule 1 and 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 r/w Section 114 of C.P.C. For Applicant : M/s.C.P.Kavitha Renjini

ORDER

M.S.RAMESH, J.

R.SAKTHIVEL, J.

The only ground on which the Review of the final order passed in C.M.A.No.3566 of 2019 dated 28.01.2025 is that, the Coordinate Bench was not correct in recording that there were arrears of the maintenance amount payable to the respondent / wife. However, when a specific question was posed to the learned counsel for the applicant as to whether there were any arrears pending when the final orders came to be passed on 28.01.2025, she admitted that 50% of the maintenance amount was refused to be received by the wife. However, she would state that subsequently the entire amount has been paid. 2.When it is admitted that there were arrears of maintenance payable when the final order was passed, we do not find it to be an error

which could be rectified by way of a Review Petition. Thus, we do not find any other reason to interfere with the order passed in C.M.A.No.3566 of 2019, dated 28.01.2025, and hence the Review Petition stands dismissed.
