Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader. With the consent of either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the applications dated 07.01.2008 made by the petitioner for the grant of temporary permit on the route from Krishnagiri to Ramanathapuram and Ramanathapuram to Krishnagiri.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the petitioner's application dated 07.01.2008 for grant of temporary permission to ply the vehicle from Krishnagiri to Ramanathapuram and Ramanathapuram to Krishnagiri is pending. It is further submitted that the petitioner also made subsequent reminders on 14.10.2008 and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

02.02.2015. But still the application requesting grant of temporary permission is pending. He also submitted that the petitioner is not plying the vehicle in that route.

4.Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the application dated 07.01.2008 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
