ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the complaint registered under Section 498 (A) I.P.C. on the ground that the matrimonial dispute between the husband and wife has led false accusation.
2. The petitioner herein is the father of the complainant's husband. A perusal of the complaint indicates that a serious allegation of harassment and abuse been made against this petitioner and his two sons and the brother of this petitioner, who is a junior father-in-law of the complainant.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that in respect of the summons issued under Section 47A, the petitioner has not participated in the enquiry.

4. This Court, without commenting about the merits of the complaint, dispose of the Criminal Original Petition with a direction to the Police to summon the petitioner herein for enquiry and the petitioner shall appear on receipt of the summon and cooperate with the investigation. If there is any material disclosing guilt during the course of investigation, the Police shall proceed against the petitioner, otherwise, drop the complaint. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
