The petitioner made a representation on 03.11.2015 to the respondent seeking permission to raise a compound wall over the properties belonging to one Kannan, who had executed a General Power of Attorney in favour of the petitioner to look after and maintain his properties. However, the request made by the petitioner is pending consideration as of now. Seeking to expedite the disposal of the said request, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Taking into consideration the limited scope of the relief sought and the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2015 with regard to the relief sought, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
