ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to mutate the revenue records in favour of petitioner in respect of Old Survey No. 828 in Ponniyamman Koil Street, Cantonment Pallavaram, Pallavaram Taluk as per the sale deed in favour of the petitioner dated 27.1.1999 bearing document No. 145/1999 SRO, Pallavaram and thereby issue revenue records in favour of petitioner
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property has been purchased by the petitioner by way of a sale deed dated 27.01.1999 and he is in possession and enjoyment of the property till date. It is his contention that the revenue records have not been mutated in the name of the petitioner. In 2/4
this regard the petitioner has given a representation to the second respondent. But no steps have been taken to mutate the revenue records in favour of the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2024 and pass Orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of the two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
