PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 19.02.2025 and to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.5,06,824/- ( Rupees Five Lakh and Six Thousand and Eight Hundred and twenty four Eight Only) together with interest at 18% per annum on Rs.5,06,824/- covered under the invoices mentioned in the schedule to the petition within a time to be fixed by this Court. ORDER
Dr.T.Seenivasan, Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first and second respondents. Mr. P.S. Prabhu, Standing counsel takes notice for the third respondent.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to pay a sum of Rs.5,06,824/- together with 18 % interest within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. The petitioner is a registered Partnership Firm engaged in the field of advertisement agency across the country and is one of the recognized empanelled advertisement agencies of the Government of Tamil Nadu, since 1990. Whileso, the third respondent placed orders for certain advertisements and the petitioner also advertised the same. The petitioner raised invoices for the said advertisement for a sum of Rs.5,06,824/- which the 3rd respondent was liable to pay. However, the third respondent failed to pay the same. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation on 19.02.2025, to the third respondent marking a copy to the first and second respondents to make payment of the aforesaid amount. Since, there was no response from the third respondent, the petitioner was constrained to file the above writ petition for the above relief.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would limit the prayer in the writ petition to a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner's counsel, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
