ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.306 of 2014 and to file a final report before the appropriate Court, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2. Heard, Mr.C.V.Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
3. It is seen that an incident allegedly had taken place on 29.11.2014 and a Case in V.Kolathur P.S Crime No.306 of 2014 for an offence under Section 174(3) Cr.P.C has been registered on 04.12.2014. In a case of this nature, the Police cannot be directed to complete the investigation because the Police are themselves clueless as to who the actual offender is. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police, directing them to complete the investigation within a specified time. To serve the interest of justice, the respondent- police is directed to diligently and expeditiously conduct investigation in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
