Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 20.07.2015 and 14.09.2015 seeking to transfer the patta in Patta No.517 to the petitioner's name in respect of the lands situated at Kainoor Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District comprised in Punjai Survey No.86B/3 an extent of 0.41 ares (1.01cents) and Punjai S.No.86B/4 measuring an extent of 0.40.5 Ares (1.00acre). By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Pursuant to the settlement deed said to have been executed by the petitioner's husband dated 12.05.2014, in respect of the lands situated at Kainoor Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District comprised in Punjai Survey No.86B/3 an extent of 0.41 ares (1.01cents) and Punjai S.No.86B/4 measuring an extent of 0.40.5 Ares (1.00acre), in favour of the petitioner, two representations dated 20.07.2015 and 14.09.2015 have been given by the petitioner seeking transfer https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of patta in respect of the said lands in her name. As no action is forthcoming at the hands of the respondent, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. 3.
Considering the fact that the representations of the petitioner, with regard to the relief sought, are pending with the respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, the last of which is dated 14.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders with regard to transfer of patta in respect of the lands situated at Kainoor Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District comprised in Punjai Survey No.86B/3 an extent of 0.41 ares (1.01cents) and Punjai S.No.86B/4 measuring an extent of 0.40.5 Ares (1.00acre) in the name of the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
