ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to direct the respondents to file final report before the competent Court having jurisdiction pursuant to registration of the first information report in Crime No.357 of 2025 dated 28.07.2025 on the file of the second respondent, within a time that may be specified by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 2nd respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 28.07.2025, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent Police shall file a final report within a period of four weeks.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the 2nd respondent police is directed to either file a positive final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of

four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
