ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.181 of 2014 and to file a final report before the appropriate Court, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2. Heard Mr.T.Dhamodharan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
3. It is seen that F.I.R. in the case was registered as early as 08.03.2014 for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b) and 506(ii) IPC and still final report has not been filed.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the dispute is essentially between brothers in respect of parking areas, for which there appears to be civil dispute.
5. Be that as it may, the police cannot keep the F.I.R pending for long. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report, in accordance with law before the concerned Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
