Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land of the petitioner in S.No. 559/A to the extent of 250 sq.ft according to th revenue records as per the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.1699/2015/A2 dated 28.10.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner made a representation on 08.07.2015 to the 1st respondent seeking to survey the land situated in S.No. 559/1A of Gummipoondi Village, Gummidipoondi Circle, on the basis of the revenue records. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that he is entitled to 250 sq.ft in the said survey number and therefore, a survey has to made to demarcate his property. On receipt of the said representation , the 1st respondent, by proceedings in Na.Ka.1699/2015/m2 dated 28.10.2015 directed the 2nd respondent to look into the same and take appropriate action. As no action is forthcoming, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to take appropriate steps, as directed by the 1st respondent, by his proceedings in Na.Ka.1699/2015/ m2 dated 28.10.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
