Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint dated 08.11.2014 lodged by the petitioner, to investigate the same and take necessary further actions in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The defacto complainant is the wife and she has lodged a complaint against her husband.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter has been referred by the Police to the Social Welfare Officer for enquiry and report.

5. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court as and when necessary.
