Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.No.981/2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the judgment 08.06.2017 passed in C.A.No.80/2017 on the file of the Additional Sessions, Magalir Neethi Mandram, (Fast Track Mahila Court), Erode, Erode District confirming the judgment dated 29.08.2016 passed in S.T.C.No.210/2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (Fats Track Court, No.II, Erode pending disposal of the above Crl.R.C.No.981/2017.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.No.981/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.I.C.VASUDEVAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. R. SEKAR Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The substantial sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended on condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the cheque amount within a period of four weeks from today, to the credit of S.T.C.No.210 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court) No.II, Erode,
2. The petitioner is further directed execute a bond, each, for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties to the like sum, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court) No.II, Erode, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall appear before the said court on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
