..Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the request made by the Principal of Jawahar Science College, Neyveli - 607803 and issue the corrected mark sheet to the petitioner with respect to the 1st semester B.Sc., Environmental Course Examination held in November 2009 with the word "Exempted" instead of "AAA" for English-1 paper as well as the consolidated mark sheet and provisional certificate within a time frame.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had studied B.Sc.(Environment Management) during the years 2009-12 in Jawahar Science College, Neyveli. Her Register Number was 2991734. She had passed all the Semester Examinations. Since she is a physically challenged student, she has been exempted for Part II (English) from attempting university examination. However, in the statement of marks (I Semester) issued by University, the result for the Language Part-II (English-I Code SLEI OB) has been marked as "AAA" instead of "exempted". In this regard, she made a representation dated 11.10.2012 to the respondent. The representation has not been considered so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that since the prayer is only to consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of G.O.Ms.No.452/Social Welfare Department, dated 29.5.1976, the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

3. In view of the above submissions, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.10.2012 on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.452/Social Welfare Department, dated 29.5.1976, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 11.10.2012 along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
