Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents, in particular the second respondent to change the name in the patta in favour of petitioner's name of his property comprised in survey No.70/18, Old No.36/D1 at Noombal Village, Thiruverkadu Township, Velappanchavady, Chennai-600 077 based on on-line application dated 30.09.2019 following petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2020.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property by considering the on-line application made by the petitioner on 30.09.2020.

2. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the second respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry on 12.11.2020 at 03.00 P.M. The learned Special Government Pleader https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
