ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint in C.S.R. No.338 of 2016 dated 28.07.2016 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report in a time bound manner.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/State.

It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR No.338 of 2016 is pending. Similarly, on the counter complaint given by the opposite party against this petitioner, enquiry in CSR No.331 of 2016 is pending. 4.

Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police are directed to enquire into both the complaints and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], otherwise, the petitions may be closed under intimation to the petitioner and the opposite party. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
