This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.87 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police, for offences under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, 1992 as against the petitioners.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the first respondent police after completion of investigation in Crime No.87 of 2020, filed the final report and it is pending for committal in P.R.C.No.24 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
