ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent, to produce the petitioner's wife B.Ranjitha @ Rachel and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Ranjitha @ Rachel went missing from 02.09.2020 and the police have not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken any effective steps to secure her.

3.Today, Mr.B.Ramachandran, Sub Inspector of Police, S14 Peerkaranai Police Station is present.

4.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Ranjitha has gone on employment as Nurse to Ireland on 28.09.2020. He has also produced the travel details. 5.In such view of the matter, it cannot be stated that Ranjitha is in the illegal custody of anyone. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
