Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta in the petitioner's name for the lands in Survey Numbers 193/6, 192/2A, 192/2B, 198/5C, 199/7A, 199/7A3, 189/7B, 189/8A, 189/8B and 189/7A in Karandapalli Village, Denkanikotta Taluk, Krishnagiri District measuring to an extent of 5 acres.

Armed with the decree granted by the Civil Court in O.S. No. 22 of 1993, the petitioners made representations to the 4th respondent on 22.01.2014, 10.06.2014 and 06.05.2015 to grant patta in their names. Despite the aforesaid representations, no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
steps have been taken, in regard thereto, by the 4th respondent. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the pendency of the representations of the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioners, the last of which is dated 06.05.2015, with regard to issuance of patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of lands in Survey Numbers 193/6, 192/2A, 192/2B, 198/5C, 199/7A, 199/7A3, 189/7B, 189/8A, 189/8B and 189/7A in Karandapalli Village, Denkanikotta Taluk, Krishnagiri District measuring to an extent of 5 acres, on merits, in accordance with law and after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioners as well as to other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
