Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioners dated 12.03.2019 for regularizing services from the date of their respective initial appointment as Village Librarian, by way of regular absorption as Librarian, Grade-III and for fixing the petitioners' pay in the said post from the respective dates of their initial appointment and to disburse the arrears thereof.

Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioners dated 12.03.2019 for regularizing services from the date of their respective initial appointment as Village Librarian, by way of regular absorption as Librarian, Grade-III and for fixing the petitioners' pay in the said post from the respective dates of their initial appointment and to disburse the arrears thereof.

2. Heard both sides and perused the records. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are differently abled persons and appointed as Village Librarians in various districts through District Employment Exchange of the districts concerned. Though the petitioners have been working on consolidated pay, their services have not been regularised till date. Hence, citing the Government Order in GO Ms. No.151,Social Welfare and Nutrition Meals Project Department dated 16.10.2008, the petitioners have made individual representations to the respondent to fix the regular time scale of pay as that of Librarian Grade-III. The said representations are still pending without consideration. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has further submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the individual representations dated 12.03.2019 submitted by the Petitioners.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the representations dated 12.03.2019 made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
