The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 701 days in filing the criminal revision in Crl.R.C.SR.No.23693 of 2024 against C.A.No.71 of 2019 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Judge, Villupuram @ Kallakurichi.

2. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow this petition on payment of costs. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 701 days in preferring the above revision, is condoned subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the State Legal Services Authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
