The petitioner, who is arrayed as an accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.01.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 279, 337, 338 and 308 of IPC r/w 185 of M.V. Act in Crime No.22 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 09.01.2016 at 10.45p.m., the petitioner in an intoxication state drove a car bearing Registration No.TN22-CL-3166 and dashed against an auto and caused injuries to 9 persons. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated as accused in the present case.

4.The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent would submit that the injured had been discharged from the hospital. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no bad antecedents.

sri 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] with two sureties each for a like sum, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, Chennai and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police twice a day i.e. at 10.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. until further orders.
