O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith refund the Security Deposit of Rs.50,000/- to the Petitioner deposited

for F.L.3.Licence No.10/2009-2010 by considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 17.02.2026.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on 20.07.2009, the petitioner has made Security Deposit of Rs.50,000/- under F.L.3 Licence No.10/2009-2010. On 22.07.2009, the respondent has granted F.L.3 Licence No.10/2009-2010 to the petitioner's hotel and the petitioner has run the hotel and the bar only upto 31.08.2015. On the request of the petitioner and NOC of the petitioner, the respondent has changed the name of the licensee from the petitioner to one P.Obliraja. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 17.02.2026 to return the Security Deposit of Rs.50,000/-, however, no orders have been passed on the same till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials on record.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on merits, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
