PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the respondent pertaining to the impugned transfer order Na.Ka.2036/2013/A1 dated 14.07.2014 and quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondent to retain the petitioner in present working place and to permit him to perform the work.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of administrative transfer issued to the petitioner on 14.07.2014 transferring the petitioner from Azhiyur Panchayat to Vadakudi Panchayat. The petitioner is working as Panchayat Secretary.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was transferred from Azhiyur Panchayat to Muttam Panchayat in proceedings dated 30.11.2021.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner was further transferred during the pendency of the writ petition, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the impugned transfer order dated 14.07.2014 as the said order was superseded.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
